Who we are
Titan Christian Fellowship is a group of CSU Fullerton students who follow Jesus and want to do life together while we're here — through discipleship, prayer, worship, fellowship, and witness. Whatever your background or where you're at in your faith, you're welcome at the table. You don't have to have it figured out to belong.
"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us." 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV)
That idea of being Christ's ambassador is where our movement gets its name. "Chi" and "Alpha" are the first letters of "Christ Ambassadors". Every Chi Alpha chapter across the country shares this same calling: that God wants every person reconciled to himself, and that happens through the people who represent him.
Chi Alpha (XA) is a national campus ministry with chapters at universities across the U.S. Titan Christian Fellowship is the Chi Alpha chapter at CSU Fullerton. Learn more about the broader movement at chialpha.com.
Discipleship
We're learning to follow Jesus and help each other do the same — the way we've been loved is the way we love (1 John 4:19, 2 Timothy 2:2).
Prayer
We believe prayer changes things and that the Holy Spirit still moves in real ways when we ask (Matthew 6:10, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5).
Worship
We put God's presence first and try to live every part of our lives as an offering to him (Romans 12:1, 1 Corinthians 10:31).
Fellowship
None of us can do this alone. Every student brings something the rest of us need (Romans 12:4-6).
Witness
We want our lives to line up with what we say we believe, on campus and beyond (Matthew 28:18-20).
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
Sent out from Davis
Titan Christian Fellowship began as a team sent out from Davis Christian Fellowship (Chi Alpha at UC Davis) to plant a new chapter at CSU Fullerton. Here's a bit more about that partnership and what sent our team south.
